Inspired Poem

Some days things are hard, there so much to do that you are just paralyzed by not knowing where to start…. Am I the only one? I didn’t think so.

This particular day, I was feeling overwhelmed with all that God is asking me to do. Struggling to cast out doubt and fear and just to TRUST HIM. The desire of my heart was to have a set of declarations that I could memorize that would remind me of the unshaken faith I am working towards. The deepest desire of my heart is to be so clean and pure so that God can work miracles through me and that I will do ALL HE asks with unshaken faith. I desire to give up everything that is keeping me from that reality.

I was releasing false beliefs/negative emotions and fortifying myself with truth. I poured out the desires of my heart in prayer. When I emerged and began to write, this poem flowed through me. It was given to me by God and edited by His Holy Spirit. I know it is meant to go across the world to strengthen and lift HIS Children!

I appreciate you sharing it so that it can bless others. Please do not copy it. I hope to have it published in the ensign and in Deseret book where it can hang beautifully on walls across the world to inspire souls to have stronger faith and trust in HIM!

The first line was something I got from my friend, Bronwen. It inspired me and I knew I wanted that to be part of it. I thought I’d have a couple lines… Imagine my amazement when this flowed out so naturally.

I’m so grateful for Kendra Burton for letting me use her painting, Jesus Heals. It perfectly portrayed what I imagine & I love to have a constant visual reminder.

Consecrated Life

I now embark on the journey that’s mine,

as promised to Father in premortal time.

I honor my mission and keep my conduit clear

By consciously choosing what I eat, think and hear.

I listen intently and I hear His voice.

I’m lovingly guided in every choice.

I live in faith and give Him all my stuff.

I breathe and know that my best is enough.

All that I experience is in His design,

For He is beside me and I know I am divine.

I go forth with courage to do all He asks

With angelic support, I complete all my tasks.

I show up to serve authentically,

and know I love best when I’m true to me.

I share His love, the world around.

Joy fills hearts & truth is found.

Aligned with God, there is no fear.

I serve His Children and feel Him near.

Pressing forward I’m changed inside,

Through Jesus Christ, I’m sanctified.

I live and love my abundant life.

Uniting with God ends all the strife.

I step into flow of give and receive,

Studying truth helps me to achieve,

All of my righteous heart’s desires

and all the Father of me requires.

I ask, He answers, this truth I know.

Trusting in Him helps me to grow,

Into the person I’m meant to be

to create with Him for eternity.
