Many have said, “I have the things I NEED and I do not need to ask for more.”
This is a trap. It’s a tough thing to believe and can sabotage our learning and growth.
The truth is that GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES! He asks us to TRUST and “DOUBT NOT, FEAR NOT”.
We are here to learn and grow and become the best we can be.
When we LET GO and stop feeling like we have to control everything, we can be GUIDED by inspired ideas that bring us to greater things than we can even imagine!
Here is a story that may help:
Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river.
The current of the river swept silently over them all – young and old, rich and poor, good
and evil, the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.
Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom,
for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current what each had learned from
birth.
But one creature said at last, ‘I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I
trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go and let it take me where it will.
Clinging, I shall die of boredom.’
The other creatures laughed and said, ‘Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will
throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than
boredom!’
But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled
and smashed by the current across the rocks.
Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the
bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.
And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, ‘See a miracle!
a creature like ourselves, yet he flies!’

I know that years ago I was really good at worrying about the resources I didn’t have and trying to fix everything myself.
I have since learned that by CHOOSING PEACE, and TRUST, & deciding “Look unto [Christ] in every thought. doubt not, fear not” life is much happier. I’ve accomplished more impossible things than I can count and touched many lives because I decided to LET GO and LET GOD guide me.
My hope and prayer is that you can do this as well.
It’s no fun to worry about what could go wrong, then live it twice if it happens.
As we go in faith and focus on who we are becoming and what we are creating… we act differently and truly “all things work out for our good.”
I have found that living in the present with curiosity and wonder about the world plus profound gratitude for where we are and the people around us provides joy now.
Divine discontent is the desire in our souls to grow, learn, and become something better. As we choose growth and learning every day, we find the windows of heaven open to us and we are guided into doing and creating things that we had never before imagined.
The art of Becoming is a sacred walk and I invite you to join it. Be Grateful and GROWING at the same time! It’s a beautiful journey!
